Atimed Healthcare is a company established by three
partners, Professor Felice Eugenio Agrò is in charge of the
coordination of ATIMED partnership. He is Full Professor
and Director of Postgraduate School at University Hospital
Campus Bio-Medico of Rome. Thanks to his long-standing
experience as a Medical Director and Director of Health
Strategy and Business Development and considering his
international contacts, Prof. Agrò is able to ensure the
participation of international brands of medical equipment

and of leading Universities to provide education and
training. ITIGROUP, headed by his president Mr. Bruno
Benetti, boasting over 40 years of success in technological
sectors in international markets, expresses today a renewed
competence in the medical division by establishing a
partnership with SERENISSIMA Group, which in the last
years has successfully carried out several projects under
the Project Financing, participating in the implementation
in Italy of major hospitals providing non-health services.
Prof. Felice Eugenio Agrò
Professor Felice Eugenio Agrò is Full Professor of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Chairman of the Postgraduate
School of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care and Director of
the Department of Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and
Pain Management at the University School of Medicine
Campus Bio-Medico of Rome, Italy.
For about ten years, he remained in office of Medical
Director and Director of Health Strategy & Business
Development Department at the University Hospital
Campus Bio-Medico of Rome.
He is author and editor of numerous publications and
medical books, the most recent of which has been
published in August 2012, “Body Fluid Management:
From Physiology to Therapy” by Springer. He also reviews
manuscripts of Critical Care Medicine, Anesthesiology,
Journal of Clinical Anesthesia, European Journal of
Emergency Medicine etc.
He is frequently chairman and speaker in eminent national
and international conferences and, finally, he is yearly
chairman of Masters, Workshops and Training Courses.
Prof. Agro’s main research interests concern the field
of Health strategy and business development, Medical
technology in Healthcare, Formation and medical
training courses in Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Pain
Management and Body Fluid Management.
Since 2002, he has been Member of the Book of Experts
of the Ministry of Education, University and Research.
In 2008, the President of the Italian Republic conferred
the medal of Commander to the Order of Merit of the
Italian Republic to Prof. Agrò.

Prof. Agro is also credited with some noteworthy inventions:
• Seeing Extraglottic Device (SED): a new supraglottic airway
device.
• Tracheotomy Tube (TT): a conduit for ventilation and airway
protection.
• Mannequin For Medical Training (MMT): a mannequin
representing human adults with real motions.
• Anti-Sleep Glasses (ASG) : a device to prevent falling asleep
while driving a vehicle.
• Alcohol Detector Glasses (ADG): provide a security system for
the individual driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
• Sodium 2-Mercaptoethane sulfonate: for use in the treatment of
the lumbar pain.
