What’s New in MicroDrainage 2015?
The latest versions of our Products, MicroDrainage, DrawNet(CAD) and Dongle Administrator are now available
for download. Details of the new features in the MicroDrainage 2015.1 can be found on our website under 'What's
New in MicroDrainage 2015'.
Important:
Please read the information below before downloading and installing the latest update, failure to do so
may result in problems using the software.
Installing the Software:
MicroDrainage 2015.1 is only supported on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
In order to use our software you will need to have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 installed on the installation
machine. Please download and install this prior to installing our software. Please also make sure that you are
using the latest version of Windows Installer on the installation machine.
Please remove the dongle (standalone only) prior to the install and reattach it after the install has completed to
allow the new drivers to be installed correctly. If you still encounter HASP errors either during or following
installation please refer to the Dongle Driver Reinstallation Instructions.
Please be aware that you will need a 2015.1 activation code in order to use the new version of the software and
old versions will be removed when MicroDrainage 2015.1 is installed. We have supplied all the maintenance
contacts for each maintained customer with 2015.1 upgrade information including the required activation codes.
Therefore in order to obtain your activation code please contact your IT department or Maintenance
contact. Our support team are only permitted to disclose activation codes to maintenance contacts.
Network (LAN/WAN) Installations:
Please ensure that you are running the latest versions of the dongle device driver and license manager on your
server before installing our latest versions.
32-bit and 64-bit: Two versions of MicroDrainage are available to suit both 32-bit and 64-bit installations of
Windows. If you have a 64-bit operating system you will see faster analysis speeds and improved support for
larger models when using the 64-bit release. The 32-bit version can be used on either version of Windows, but
64-bit users will miss out on the benefits of the 64-bit version.

DrawNet(CAD):
DrawNet(CAD) replaces MDCAD from WinDes 2013 onwards, in order to use DrawNet(CAD) the DrawNet
Module must be available on your dongle.
Note: AutoCAD®/Civil3D® release 2013, 2014. 2015 or 2016 (full version not LT) is required. DrawNet(CAD)
works with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of AutoCAD/Windows, please download and install the appropriate
version to match your operating system.
DrawNet(CAD) will be installed into the C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins folder.
Dongle Administrator:
Note: This is only intended for use with network licenses where the system administrator does not wish to install
a full version of MicroDrainage onto the server. It is not required for any other purpose as Dongle Administrator is
installed as standard with MicroDrainage.
VeriData:
Those users wishing to use the new VeriData option within Simulation A.P.T. need to have the Microsoft Access
Database Engine installed on their machine. This is automatically included with the latest versions of the
Microsoft Office suite. However if users do not have Office installed they will need to download and install the
appropriate version of the Microsoft Access Database Engine.
Please click on the download required and save the file. Double click the saved file and follow the on-screen
instructions to install.

When updating an existing network installation please ensure that the latest Dongle drivers and License
Manager are also installed on the server. If client machines are generating dongle warnings following the
installation, these machines will also require the installation of the Dongle drivers.
