ABOUT THE TETLEY
The Tetley is a unique venue in the centre of Leeds combining industrial heritage and stunning
architecture with contemporary creativity. The building provides an inspirational backdrop to any
event, retaining many of its Art Deco features alongside newly created galleries on the ground
and first floors.
We are delighted to offer a range of spaces for hire including our historic Board Room and
Ground Floor Gallery. Our unique venue is located centrally in Leeds with easy access from the
train station and with on-site parking.
At The Tetley, we work closely with our clients offering bespoke event and conference packages,
building each event with you, catering from groups as small as 4 up to 800. Our professional and
friendly events team will look after you each step of the way.
We have hosted a wide range of events including private dinners and large-scale corporate
events such as product launches, seminars, training days and conferences.
Our menus are centered around great Yorkshire food with a contemporary twist. We offer a
broad range of canapés, buffets, afternoon tea along with our delicious dining room and bar
menus available. And of course there’s Tetley’s bitter and a tempting selection of wines and
spirits.
All profits support artistic and learning programmes at The Tetley. When you hold a great event
in our unique venue you will also be supporting an important local charity.

OUR SPACES
THE BOARD ROOM

Meet in the historic Tetley’s Board Room under the watchful
gaze of the former chairmen. A stunning wood panelled
room with the original fireplace and furniture. Extend your
stay with a private lunch or dinner, seated at the table.
Seats up to 16 (board room style).
Located on the second floor.
Day rate £425/Half-day rate £215 *
GROUND FLOOR GALLERY
A newly refurbished, multi-purpose space. The Ground
Floor Gallery offers a flexible environment perfect for
product launches, conferences and private dinners.
Seats up to 100 (cabaret or theatre style), 150 standing.
Located on the ground floor directly off Reception.
Day rate £650/Half-day rate £325 *
IMPERIAL ROOM
So named after Tetley’s Imperial, this room is small but
perfectly formed and boasts the original parquet floor, table
and chairs.
Seats up to 10 (board room style).
Located on the ground floor.
Day rate £150/Half-day rate £75 *
CITY WORKSHOP
A beautiful corner room on the second floor with nine
original Art Deco windows offering great views of the
Leeds city centre skyline.
Seats 50 (theatre style).
Located on the second floor next to the Board Room.

CATERING

The Tetley can cater for any event providing great Yorkshire
food to suit your occasion, from canapés and buffets to
private dining and high afternoon tea. We also offer a great
selection of beers, lagers, wines and spirits plus superb
coffee and speciality teas.
AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT
A full range of technical equipment and presentation
support is available to ensure your message is delivered in
the right way. LCD screens, projectors and internet access
for all delegates are included in your room hire fee. We are
happy to work with you if your require additional specialist
equipment.
OUTDOORS AT THE TETLEY
As the only venue in the city with an outside green space
and accompanying terrace, we are able to deliver events
both inside and outside The Tetley. From group drinks after
work, to private BBQ’s and away-days, we’re happy to help
you make the most of summer.
CREATIVE CONSULTING
As a centre for contemporary art and learning, The Tetley
is the perfect location to inspire creative thinking. Everyone
has the ability to think creatively, to solve problems, come
up with unique and innovative solutions and to generate
a multitude of ideas that make a difference. Why not
consider bringing in one of our creative consultants to lead
a workshop or team building session for your group?
ALSO AT THE TETLEY
TOURS
Why not include a guided tour of The Tetley building as
part of your event? Our knowledgeable staff can provide
your group with a private tour explaining the history of the
building, its architectural features and insight into current
exhibitions.
FIRST THURSDAY
Why not bring the team down for a little something
different after work? On the first Thursday of each month,
our galleries are open until 8pm with a programme of
activities, talks and events. A bespoke menu in the Bar &
Kitchen is available offering an opportunity to extend your
evening and conversation with great beers and wines and a
tasty selection of Yorkshire inspired dishes.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
The Tetley is a great place to spend with the family. Each
week our free, drop-in Saturday Art Workshops are open
to families and children of all ages. We offer Tiny Tetley
each month, where even the littlest ones can get involved
with messy play. There are always additional events and
activities during school term time. Check our website for
details.
WEDDINGS
Our unique setting provides the perfect backdrop
for your special day. Our Ground Floor Gallery is the
perfect size to host an intimate dinner for your wedding
party. There’s even room for a small dance floor. The
Tetley is conveniently located to Leeds city centre, with
nearby hotels and adjacent car park, making it easy to
accommodate your guests.

The Tetley is in Leeds city centre, just a 7 minute walk
from Leeds Train Station and 3 minutes from Briggate
(the main shopping area). If you’re travelling by car, we
are easily accessible from the motorway network and are
conveniently located right next to the Brewery Car Park.
