Course Description:
Topics discussed include displaying and describing data, the normal curve, regression, probability, statistical
inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis tests with applications in the real world.
Course Material:
STAT 101 requires a textbook and an access code for the online homework system MyStatLab.
The textbook is Intro Stats by De Veaux, Velleman and Bock, 4th edition, published by Pearson. The website is
