Travel through the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis to board
the SeaLink ferry to Kangaroo Island.
From your base at Penneshaw, you will be able to visit some
of Kangaroo Island’s best Cellar Doors to taste their local
wines while taking in the great views of the coast.
Explore the natural wonders of this great Island such as the
Seal Bay Conservation Park where you will be taken on a
beach walk tour with an experienced guide to be amongst a
colony of rare and wild Australian Sea-lions.
Visit Flinders Chase National Park, a sanctuary for native
Australian wildlife and home to Remarkable Rocks and
Admirals Arch.

Suggested Itinerary
An early morning departure from Adelaide (coach or self-drive)
and take in the scenic Fleurieu Peninsula as you make your way to
Cape Jervis to board the SeaLink ferry service to Kangaroo Island.
Kangaroo Island is over 155km in length and 55km wide and is
Australia’s third largest Island. During the next three days you will
have the opportunity to take in some of the spectacular coastal
scenery, scenic landscapes and enjoy fresh local produce and
Kangaroo Island wines.
Stay at the delightful coastal township of Penneshaw, which is
located on the Dudley Peninsula on the eastern end of Kangaroo
Island. From here you will be able to visit some of Kangaroo
Island’s best Cellar Doors to taste their local wines while taking in
the great views of the coast.
Explore the wonders of this great Island such as the Seal Bay
Conservation Park where you will be taken on a beach walk tour
with an experienced guide to be amongst a colony of rare and
wild Australian Sea-lions – a truly amazing and unforgettable
experience (tour not included).
Visit Flinders Chase National Park, a sanctuary for native Australian
wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. Get
some awesome photo opportunities at Remarkable Rocks and
Admirals Arch, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful New
Zealand Fur Seals that can be seen resting, swimming and playing
in the waves or on the rocks (entry fee not included).
Whilst Kangaroo Island is much celebrated for its wildlife, its food
and wine are integral parts of the Kangaroo Island experience.
Try sheep’s cheese and yoghurt along with a generous dollop of
organic honey from the Island’s famous Ligurian Bee.
Enjoy some of Kangaroo Island’s fine, home grown and awardwinning wines and even some spirits from a boutique distillery.
Sample some of Kangaroo Island’s freshwater crayfish – the
Marron or savour the famous King George Whiting. There is
nothing wild or untamed about the Island’s food and wines!
