Are you looking for a unique opportunity to jumpstart your language skills and prepare to
incorporate Spanish into your future career? You can combine your abilities in Spanish with
Business or Pre-Health, two of our most popular fields.
The “Globalize Your Future” program is designed for students with just one or two years of
high school Spanish. You will take an intensive course that covers a year’s worth of language
study in one semester and earn TWO units of credit for one course, SN 221, “Intensive
Spanish,” while being part of a focused learning community.
At the same time, you can enroll in one of our most popular courses, BA 201, “The Real
‘Bottom Line’: Foundations of Business Thought,” or in the Pre-Health class BI 115,
“Organismal Biology.” The two-course combo (SN 221/BA 201 or SN 221/BI 115) carries a
credit value of three units—enough to qualify as a full-time student. You need not take any
other classes this fall, though you have room for another if you wish.
Space is limited so make your request soon! Begin now to develop an edge in business or
health care careers. You can sign up for SN 221 alone, but students who enroll in BA 201 or BI
