What is it?
A competition for high school students that tests knowledge in neuroscience.
Participants win prizes and participate in cool brain science activities!
Questions come from Brain Facts*.
The St. Louis Area Brain Bee champion will be awarded an all-‐expenses paid trip
to compete in the National Brain Bee.
The winner of the National Brain Bee receives a
$1500 cash reward
, a fellowship to work in a neuroscience laboratory, and a trip to the International Brain Bee.
Who can participate?
Any high school/home student from grades 9 to 12 is eligible to compete in the St. Louis Area Brain Bee.
How do students prepare?
Competitors study from Brain Facts*, a book produced by the Society for Neuroscience. Students are invited to join us at the Taylor
Community Science and Resource Center for free brain bee training Saturdays in January. Register to receive more information.
