We are presently accepting applications for the following position:
Rooms Division Manager
The Rooms Division Manager (RDM) is responsible for the execution of the
duties of the Head of Departments located in the Rooms Division
Department. The RDM supervises the day-to-day operations of the
following areas at the Avila Hotel: Security, Housekeeping, Front
Office/Reservations, Maintenance, Duty Management and IT.
The RDM reports directly to the General Manager.
Requirements:
- A degree in Hotel Management or equivalent managerial studies
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in a management position
- Strong leadership, organizational skills, guest focused and service oriented
- Excellent communication skills, a real motivator and coach
- Able to manage multiple and competing projects/priorities
- Excellent planning skills and the ability to meet and establish deadlines
- Complete understanding of the activities and procedures of the RD
departments
- Able to check and control financial reports
- Knowledge of Property Management System (PMS)
(Fidelio/Micros/Opera)
- Extensive computer and IT skills
- Able to communicate in English, Dutch and preferably Spanish and
Papiamentu
