We are excited to announce our annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at
Klemmer’s Banquet Center in Milwaukee. We are pleased to welcome Lisa Sershon as our guest speaker. Lisa is a certified physician assistant at the Center for Neurological Disorders (CND) located in the St. Francis Outpatient Center on Milwaukee’s south side. She will discuss her work with Myasthenia Gravis patients, its physiology, medication and treatment options, Botox usage, and pregnancy.
Lisa has been a physician assistant at the CND for three years, receiving her undergraduate degree at Carroll University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. She attended graduate school at Midwestern University, earning a Master of Medical Science in
Physician Assistant Studies. Lisa’s clinical interests include general neurology with an emphasis on autoimmune mediated neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, mg, and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy. She is also involved in teaching PA and medical students in the CND clinic and enjoys speaking to patient and peer groups. In her free time Lisa enjoys spending time with family, reading, cooking, and practicing yoga.
