Each participating school may submit at most two (2) investigatory research projects in any of the following fields, Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Ecology. Each research project may be done by an individual or by a group with a maximum of three (3) members, and with at least one 4th year student. Each participant/group must be represented by a Research Adviser. No registration fee will be collected but only the first 30 submitted research projects will be accepted. Strictly NO late confirmation/registration/no walk-in participants. Complete research papers or write-ups must be submitted to the organizers (hard copy or soft copy thru e-mail) on or before Feb. 6, 2015 with the following components: a. Preliminaries (Title Page, Acknowledgments, Table of Contents) b. Introduction (Statementof the Problem/ Objectives, Significance of the Study) c. Materials and Methods (Research Procedure, Data Gathering and Statistical Analysis) d. Results and Discussions e. Conclusions and Recommendations f. References 3. Actual display of the investigatory research project or Research Posters will be exhibited on the day of the competition. 4. Researchers must prepare a Powerpoint presentation and will be given 20 minutes to present their investigatory projects. 5. The decision of the Board of Judges shall be final and unappealable. Any administrative or technical problem that may arise during the contest shall be resolved by the organizers, whose decision, moreover, shall be final and unappealable.
