I am writing to you in regards to my interest for the Disney English Trainer position for Beijing and Shanghai. I
saw the available position on Craigslist and was immediately interested. I would like an opportunity to share
with you my qualifications and my passion for teaching youth and the positive impact I could have as part of
your program.
I graduated this past December from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. While
attending Texas A&M I was also a member of the women’s soccer team. As a part of the athletic program at
A&M I was thoroughly involved in community outreach and youth education programs. My studies and
collaboration in college sports and youth development has sparked an undeniable interest in locking into a
teaching career. Eighteen years as a soccer player has instilled in my character competitive values, teamwork,
and goal ambition. My problem solving organizational skills enable me to stay on task and meet deadlines. As a
student athlete I built great time management skills having to juggle between school, training,
team commitments and extracurricular activities.
Four summers working in the campus athletic office gave me experience in implementing significant programs
and special events. My responsibilities included but were not limited to organizing and structuring the Texas
A&M soccer youth camps. At camps we trained and taught the necessary skills to become a successful soccer
player as well as mentoring and challenging each youth player. I was responsible for camper check-in,
processing fees and boutique transactions as well as managing daily communications between campers, parents
and the office.
This Spring I implemented a new 7th and 8th grade soccer program at A&M Consolidated Middle School. As
head coach of the two AMCMS teams I was the sole proprietor for team tryouts. In addition this position
encompassed organizing and structuring the entire middle school soccer league for the city of College Station.
My primary responsibility included managing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with practices,
games, and tournament guidelines. Throughout my career playing for the Texas A&M soccer team I have also
worked and helped organize monthly youth clinics. It has been my involvement in the youth sports arena that
has really built my passion for working with children. While coaching at AMCMS I also worked part time as a
substitute teacher in the College Station school district. I discovered a great desire for teaching in the classroom.
Knowing that communication is essential for this position I have the qualifications you are looking for. I have a
very approachable persona giving me confidence communicating at all levels to effectively carry out the duties
assigned to me. I would describe myself as very energetic and outgoing with a love for learning and helping
others. I believe that my 5 years of experience in youth sports development and community outreach programs
has prepared me to work with a company like Disney English.
Thank you for taking the time to look over my application in regards to the English Trainer for the Disney
English program. I have also attached my resume in this letter. I can be reached by email at

Sincerely,
