Human Body System Report Instructions - Check-off List Name _________________ You will be writing a report on the body system you chose in class. Your report should include the following pages: □ Page 1 - Title Page includes the name of the body system, the date, and your complete name. □ Page 2 - Diagram Use the outline of the human body provided in class to draw a diagram of your system. This should be detailed with all the organs in your system and neatly drawn. All the organs should be colored, labeled, and correctly spelled. □ Page 3 List of Organs Make a separate list of each of the organs in your body system and a detailed explanation of what each organ is and what it does. □ Page 4 Information Write a report of at least one page telling what you have learned about your system. □ □ Explain what this system does for your body? (What is its job?) □ Explain how the system works. For example, first, your diaphragm contracts causing you to breathe in air. The air goes down the tube that is called the trachea or windpipe…etc. (Explain each step in detail.) □ Write about at least three other interesting things that you learned about your body system that have not yet been included in your report or discussed in class to show that you have done some independent research. This additional information should also be detailed and written in complete sentences. Page 5 Bibliography Make a list of the titles (underlined), publishers, and copyright dates of the books you used to get information for your report. Include the title and producer of the video you watched in class. Also be sure to list any websites used to obtain information for your report. □ Include at least 2 books used in addition to the booklet and video provided in class. □ Your report is neatly written or typed by you using complete sentences. □ Check that words are spelled correctly. □ Turn in this page with your report!
