An experiment in Osmosis.
You are going to do a trial to show that osmosis really works.
Equipment:







Potato
Knife
Tile
Borer
Ruler
Filter paper
Scales
Method.
 Cut six potato pieces using the knife, tile and borer.
 Even-up all chips to the same length.
 Place the chips onto the filter paper to dry up excess
water.
 Record the length and weight of each chip.
 Place the chips into different sucrose solutions. (OM,
0.2M, 0.4M, 0.6M, 0.8M and 1M)
 Place a bung on top of each tube.
