AMOUNT OF ENERGY IN FAT
To show the students how much energy fat has you can do a simple activity. You can
burn greasy potato chips and a regular potato. This activity requires a place outdoors to
set up. The chips will burn hot and fast. The regular potato will not burn very well. It may
take starting fluid for the potato. Be careful not to set any thing on fire.
