Suggested study timetable for Leaving Cert students for Christmas. Total number of days off: 17 days and one half day (incl. weekends) (23rd Dec-10t Jan. 2011 inclusive) No. of days recommended for revision: 9 full days (28th, 29th, 30th, 31st Dec 2010 & 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th Jan 2011 How to use this time: 1. 10am-1pm--------------------------------3 subjects x 45 mins (Exam topics) (Two10 min breaks with 25 mins left to recap the revision) 2. 2pm-5.00pm ----------------------------3 subjects x 45 mins (Exam topics) (Two 10 min breaks with 25 mins to recap the revision) Six exam topics covered and revised each day. It would be wise to include a section on Oral work practice as one of your topics each day USE exam questions for revision. Find an exam question first, and then reading through your books & notes underline main points &write out the main points of your answers. Using the main points decide how you can structure the answer. If you find this plan difficult you can be flexible but you do need to start doing revision in “bulk” and working to a plan. Happy Christmas!
