Before drafting this section, ask yourself, “if I didn’t have this position, why would I be convinced that the Unit/Section/Division needs it?”

coordinating cooperation between independent workers?

Functions / Key Results Expected Five to six results-oriented statements, concentrating on deliverables rather than process. Only include
functions estimated to require at least 10% of time. Functions should indicate opportunities for independent action or for making proposals for improvement
in process/service delivery. This should also indicate the nature of supervision – to what extent work is reviewed and for what purpose.
Do not include “other duties as assigned”, which applies to all jobs, and generally requires less than 10% of time. Ensure that the job functions describe the
contribution of the post to programme objectives. Use action verbs rather than modifiers such as “assists”, “participates” or “contributes”.
