Cap and Gown pictures will be made during IF on April 18th.

Prom Tickets are being sold in room 152 and Media Center before/after school and at lunch for $75. Tuxedo
Wearhouse is scheduled to be back next Tuesday, April 17th during lunch on east campus to do fittings. Discount
coupons are available where Prom tickets are sold. Prom is April 28th from 8pm-11pm at Forsyth Conference
Center, next to the Avenue. If you are bringing a date to prom who is not a student at FCHS you will need to fill out
a Guest Request Form available in East Media center or room 152. Check out FCHS web site for more prom
information.

Cheerleading tryouts for all competition and spirit squads will be held Friday, April 13th through Friday, April
20th from 4:30 – 6:00pm in the new gym. Please see Ms. Lloyd in room 142 if you have any questions!

If you still owe for the yearbook, final payments must be made by April 20th. You will not receive a yearbook if final
payment is not made.

SPRING FOOTBALL PRACTICE DATES: MAY 7th – MAY 19nd 4:00 – 6:15 PM; Mandatory team meeting Monday April
30th in Fieldhouse after school for anyone interested; WHAT YOU NEED: UPDATED PHYSICAL ON FILE, CLEATS, and a
A GREAT ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!!!! See any football Coach to sign up!!!!

Special Olympics Spring Games are Friday, April 20th. If you are interested in being a buddy for a special needs
elementary or middle school student, please pick up a recommendation form outside of rm. 1168 or 152. Forms
are due no later than Wed, April 18th to Ms. Kohler or Ms. Latrelle in room 1168. We are especially in need of boys
to partner with middle school boys.

Teachers, please bring your class out to the stadium to cheer on the Special Olympic athletes on Friday, April 20!
The county-wide games are held here at Central. The opening ceremonies are scheduled for 10 a.m. The games
last until lunchtime. Hope to see you there.

Beta Club is holding its next monthly meeting on Friday, April 20 at 7:45 AM in the New Gym Conference Room.
Members should make every effort to attend, as we will be hosting Mr. Jeremiah Walker, Forsyth Central Teacher,
Coach, and Forsyth County Run for a Reason Event Coordinator. Mr. Walker will join us to provide important
information on the Run for a Reason service opportunity, which is scheduled for May 19.

Key Club will meet on Tuesday, April 24th. The President of the SFHS Key Club will be visiting that day, as well as
several members of the local Kiwanis Club. We will be discussing officer elections, Relay for Life, and fund-raising
ideas. Let’s give our guests a warm welcome to FCHS!

The Patriot Club would like to extend the invitation to walk with us this year at the 2012 Autism Speaks Walk at
Atlantic Station on May 20th at 9:00 am. You can click on this link (http://bit.ly/InskBO) to join us. You do not have
to give a donation to walk unless you would like to do so. I almost forgot, non-club members, if you would like a
TEAM T-Shirt they will be $10. Let Mr. Calabro know your size and money is due by May 4. See Mr. Calabro in
room 1544 for more information.

If you’re interested in running Cross Country next year, please plan to attend a very important spring meeting on
Thursday April 26 immediately after school in Mr. Walker’s room – 1555 on West Campus in C building.

2012 Atlanta Braves All Star Student Achievers – Are you interested??? See Mrs. Santiago for a form to order 2 free
tickets to a game!

All seniors please bring in a small baby picture to Coach Bramblett on West Campus for the senior slideshow by
April 13th. Please contact Coach Bramblett or Nathan Williams for details.


Students interested in taking an SAT or ACT prep course should go to www.rmass.com to sign up for this helpful
test prep seminar. SAT will be held at FCHS on April 16 and 17; ACT will be held at South Forsyth HS on March 12
and 13. Details are on the counseling website under “test prep” link. For both the cost is $150 or $79 for one.

If anyone is interested in playing volleyball next year, please stop by Coach Vazquez’s room 1303 to receive
information about it!

Peer tutoring is available to students on Tuesday mornings at 7:15 in Ms. Gray’s room and Thursday afternoons at
3:50 in Ms. Russell’s room (208). We are in need of tutors, so please sign up ASAP!
Submit any announcements to Mrs. Chilson at echilson@forsyth.k12.ga.us by noon on Friday to be posted for the
upcoming week.
