Villeroy & Boch Tiles new products 2015

Trendsetting tile concepts with distinctive visual impact

Historical inspiration, modern interpretation

Inspired by our history – for its new 2015 products Villeroy & Boch has taken a look back at its own history and gathered inspiration from a range of historical models: old Mettlach tiles, mosaic décors, elegant faience and terracotta from the past, which have influenced art and lifestyle culture for over 150 years and are still fascinating today. Selected aspects of these traditional models have been reinterpreted in the unmistakable style of Villeroy & Boch

Tiles, combining the fashion for natural-looking products with an urban lifestyle. The result: innovative stand-alone concepts with a new and yet familiar look.

Past meets present: CENTURY UNLIMITED

This perfect symbiosis of past and present is most impressively and effectively illustrated in the CENTURY UNLIMITED range. For this new collection Villeroy & Boch has looked back at its own history and reinterpreted it in a modern context. The colours and forms are cleverly mixed to produce an expressive blend of old and new. The basic porcelain stoneware tiles are available in eight colours with three décor intensities and a colour concept permitting elegant and modern designs for a wide variety of applications. The almost unending combinations of colours and décors enable planners and end users to design individual and creative patterns – for homes, the public sector, new buildings and renovations.

History meets industrial style: WAREHOUSE

For the WAREHOUSE range Villeroy & Boch Tiles combines historical elements with the industrial style, which has its roots in the modern urban lifestyle. This environment has given rise to fascinating individual worlds with lots of space for personal development. For all the

purism in terms of materials and colours, high-grade décors are highly appreciated. With a surface finish, reminiscent of cast concrete, and the exclusive used-look décor tiles recalling the traditional Mettlach tiles, WAREHOUSE satisfies all modern lifestyle demands. The restrained light grey, medium grey and anthracite colour schemes emphasise the subdued concrete look, making for an attractive and modern atmosphere in both public and private settings.

Stories about nature: ASPEN, ASTORIA and LODGE WALL

Nature is one of the most enduring fashions of the last few years. Interior designs use naturallooking materials, authentic forms and natural colours. Surface finishes that tell a story, like old wooden beams, natural stone or metals, are in great demand. They are integrated in modern urban environments as a sign of authenticity and indication of a natural lifestyle.

With this in mind, Villeroy & Boch Tiles has come up with three new concepts: ASPEN,

ASTORIA and LODGE WALL.

The distinctive design of ASPEN was inspired by Valser quartzite. The characteristic layering and bright veining produce an expressive surface pattern in which the stone look contrasts delightfully with the soft colours.

ASTORIA interprets the characteristic look of Jura marble with its harmonious colours, large and small veining and natural pockets. The cut décors have historical roots: classically round in the warm colour line and timelessly angular for the cool line.

LODGE WALL is ideal for the country look and for creating a homely and puristic atmosphere. The basic tiles have a finely structured relief that interprets the wood look in an elegantly restrained manner. The decorative mosaics are available in three versions.

Moreover, new decorations from the LODGE floor range have been developed, combining the country-style wood look of the floor range with historical patterns. Variations of Villeroy

& Boch design branding are also available, linking the current fashion for nature with the tradition of the house of Villeroy & Boch.
