Harmonious wall solutions and décor additions to the LODGE floor range
LODGE WALL: restrained wood look with structure and high-quality décor
LODGE WALL is the new nonvitreous range from Villeroy & Boch Tiles, available as a
stand-alone wall concept and harmonious addition to the LODGE floor range. The restrained
wood look and soft structure, coordinated colours and expressive mosaics give rooms a
modern natural feel and homely atmosphere.
The basic tiles of LODGE WALL have a fine relief structure that interprets the wood theme
in an elegantly restrained manner. The crème and grey colours with typical wood variations
give these matt tiles a particularly natural look. The plain white tile, by contrast, is
deliberately discreet. A slim rectified rectangular 30 x 90 cm format has been chosen to
create wood-effect laying patterns. The mosaics, based on the coordinated colour mix of the
LODGE porcelain stoneware floor tiles, are ideal for harmonious wall decorations or
expressive surfaces. They are available in three versions: tone-in-tone grey, tone-in-tone
brown, and multicoloured.
New décors have been designed for the LODGE floor range, which can also be used
effectively on walls. The vilbostone porcelain stoneware décor tiles have an authentic
20 x 120 cm hallway format. Historical patterns inspired by the old Mettlach tiles
complement the country-style wood look. Like the LODGE basic tiles, the décor tiles are
available in five multicolour shades – beige, greige, brown, grey and dark brown – based on
natural wood tones. The colour spectrum thus ranges from very light chalked wood to natural
brown and solid dark brown.
The décor tiles can also be provided with Villeroy & Boch design branding, in this way
linking the modern natural look with the tradition of Villeroy & Boch. The logo is placed
irregularly and randomly, making the laying pattern even more authentic and individual –
regardless of whether it is used for a large surface or just for accentuation.
The versatile mosaic décors in LODGE WALL make it ideal for expressive bathrooms. In
kitchens and living rooms an elegant and natural atmosphere can be created with both the
mosaic and LODGE décor tiles. LODGE and LODGE WALL are interesting options for
homes and public buildings, possessing all the advantages of ceramics: hardwearing
robustness, colourfastness and easy cleaning. For private builders or architects alike, LODGE
offers an excellent modern and natural-looking alternative to a wooden floor.
