Letter to Parents

Dear Parents and Guardians,
¡Hola! My name is Jessica Daniels, and I am your son/daughter’s
Spanish teacher this year. I just wanted to introduce myself and
encourage you to get involved in your son/daughter’s learning this
year, asking them the new words and phrases they are learning in
Spanish, as practice is the best way to learn and succeed in a language.
At the beginning of the year, you signed the list of expectations
for Spanish I. The kids and myself hold each other to these
expectations, and I wanted to make sure you were aware of them to
help your child succeed in Spanish. Thank you for already signing the
parent contract portion at the bottom of that paper so I know we are
on the same page. I would also like to ask that if you have anything
you ever need to talk with me about regarding your child in class,
please feel free to call me at the school (740-254-4262), or drop me
an email (jessica.daniels@ivschools.org) and we can talk it out.
What is most important to me is your child, and if there is
anything I or we can do to make their learning more productive, I
would love to help. Thank you, and I hope to meet and talk with you
sometime soon!
Dear Parents and Guardians of Spanish 2 and 3 students,
¡Hola! My name is Jessica Daniels, and I am your son/daughter’s
Spanish teacher again this year. I just wanted to check in with you and
let you know I am excited to have your child in Spanish again! I
would also like to remind you, as always, if you have anything you
ever need to talk with me about regarding your child in class, please
feel free to call me at the school (740-254-4262), or drop me an
email (jessica.daniels@ivschools.org) and we can talk it out.
It is great to be able to see kids work through their time in
Spanish and see their progress throughout the years. It is a pleasure to
see your child back in my classroom- Thank you, and I hope to meet
and talk with you sometime soon!
