Vendors (Primary Vendors)
In general, orders are sent to our primary vendor for the country of publication, regardless of
language (eg, book in Spanish, published in France – order is sent to our primary vendor for
France: Aux Amateurs des Livres). Generally, the only exception is if a non-primary vendor is
the sole source & will not sell through one of our primary vendors.
We have no established vendor for titles published in
Africa. In general, orders are sent to our primary
vendor in the former colonial metropole (eg,
Blackwell’s for anglophone countries, Aux Amateurs
des Livres for francophone countries), but the
fulfillment rate has been very poor.
ASN selects the vendor for titles published in Asia,
based on country of publication. We have no established
Africa
Asia
vendor for titles published in other Asian countries;
fulfillment rate has been very poor using our primary vendors
for other regions. Orders for CJK books published outside of
Asia are sent to the primary vendor for country of publication
