DAILY BREAD FOOD PANTRY is in need of dry pasta
(spaghetti, macaroni, etc). If you wish to donate these
items, please bring them to mass and deposit them in
the receptacle provided at the back entrance to the

MONDAY, AUGUST 15TH, is the SOLEMNITY OF THE
ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY.
Since it falls on a Monday it is not a holyday of
obligation. Mass for the solemnity will be celebrated at
7:00 a.m.
SACRED HEART OF MILFORD will be sponsoring
another trip to New York City. Date is October 22nd.
Cost of the trip is $41.00 for cluster parishioners and
$44.00 for non-cluster parishioners. This will be a day
of shopping, sightseeing, or you may see a show (on
your own). The bus will be leaving from the parking lot
across from the parish at 7:00 a.m. and returning

reservations.
LIFE LINE SCREENING
10 minutes that could save your life – Life Line
Screening will be at the Sacred Heart Bell Tower – at
11 E. Main St. Milford, on Wednesday, September
21st. Ultrasound vascular tests and osteoporosis
screenings will be performed. You must call 1-800-3241851 to pre-register. Please check your future
newsletters or bulletins for informative flyers on the
beneficial health service.
These no-invasive and completely painless
vascular screenings take about 10 minutes each, and
are offered for $45.00. (or all 3 for $109.00). The
osteoporosis screening is offered for just $30.00. YOU
MUST PRE-REGISTER.
YOUTH CHOIR
Our church offers a youth choir which sings twice a
month at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. We are seeking new
members to come share their talents. No experience is
necessary. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday
evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This group is
accompanied by piano and violin. If you are interested
in joining, please call Vinnie Kiejzo at (508) 331-4480
or come to rehearsal and join us.

Operation Coordinator-This person coordinates the
administrative, financial and personnel management of
our parish. This coordinator also oversees the
dynamics of communication and census keeping work
with the ministries of stewardship and finance, and
coordinates parish facility usage.
Music Coordinator – This person coordinates the
resources and talents of the community to provide a
comprehensive music ministry that will enhance our
worship and evangelize the hearts of all parishioners.

PARENT’S NIGHT OUT
The Tri-Parish Youth Ministry is sponsoring another
Parent’s Night Out fundraiser on Friday, August 19,
2005 from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Bell Tower Room
(top floor of Milford Catholic) at Sacred Heart Church
in Milford. This is open to all children age 4+. Pasta
with sauce/butter will be served with a variety of drinks
and snacks. Different toys and games will be available
for the kids to use and “Home on the Range” (Rated
PG) will be shown. The proceeds will go to support the
Tri-Parish Youth Ministry’s Family Mass. If you are
interested in registering your child, or if you would like
more information, please email your child’s name, age,
phone number, and parish (by August 7, 2005) to

PARENT’S NIGHT OUT – 2005- 2006 SCHEDULE
The Tri-Parish Youth Ministry is sponsoring Parent’s
Night Out fundraisers on the following Saturdays:

June 23, 2006
These events take place from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the
Bell Tower Room (top floor of Milford Catholic) at
Sacred Heart in Milford and are open to all children
age 4+. Pasta with sauce/butter will be served along
with a variety of drinks and snacks. Many activities are
scheduled for the children. The cost is $5 per child;
$20 per family. Registration will be closed one (1) week
prior to the date of the event. We also ask that children
arrive no later than 4:45 p.m. on the Saturday events to
allow for parking for the 5:00 p.m. Mass. Please watch
the church bulletins for further information.
LET US REMEMBER IN OUR PRAYERS the
depressed and lonely, the hospitalized, the afflicted,
the shut-ins, those in nursing homes, all those who
need the support of our prayers, the souls who have no
one to pray for them, and the souls in purgatory.
VACATION DONATIONS: We are very grateful to
those parishioners who make up their weekly/monthly
envelopes while on vacation. Even though many leave
the area to get renewed and refreshed during the
summer, it is good to remember your home parish as
well as your vacation parish.
