The Manager, Marketing and Communications will play a key role in the
development and review of Comcare’s communications strategy and as the leader of a
small team, work closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver products and
activities to implement the strategy.
Knowledge and experience in the area of corporate communications and strategic
marketing as well as a proven record in building productive working relationships are
essential for this role.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communication, public relations or a
related field is highly desirable.
The Marketing and Communications team is responsible for corporate
communications, promotion and implementation of communication projects and
activities including graphic design, desk topping, media and public relations, events
management, publications and on-line marketing.

1.
Manage a function, work unit and/or projects to achieve organisational and
operational goals.
2.
Lead a small team that assists line areas with all aspects of corporate
communications including preparation of publications, production and
editing of corporate newsletter, events management, graphic design and
maintenance of the Internet/Intranet.
3.
Provide high level professional, specialist and/or technical advice to a range
of internal and external stakeholders.
4.
Actively develop working relationships across the organisation and with
clients and other stakeholders that are effective, collaborative and strategic.
5.
Promote the APS Values, APS Code of Conduct and Comcare Leadership
Values and model behaviours that demonstrate commitment to these
principles.
6.
Represent the organisation to client agencies and other external forums.
