Your help is needed to assist Family Outreach to serve the
desperately poor Haitian/Dominican Batey Communities. You can help
us by collecting used shoes from your neighbors at home, associates
at school, at church, or on the job. Every family member can help to
hand out at least 5-10 of these fliers. This is a great family project.
This small act speaks clearly that you and your sponsoring group are
involved.
 Take this flier home and give 5+ copies to each family member to
distribute w/ a 30 gallon plastic bag among 5+ neighbors or
associates.
 Tell your associate, “Our Collection Day is____________________.
 Please leave the bagged used shoes at/on/in_________________.”
 Record their name and e-mail so we keep them informed.
 On the Collection Day retrieve the shoes in the plastic bag from
your associates and leave a “Thank You Tax Receipt.”
 Gather your all family’s shoes and drop off the shoe bags in the
truck at the designated central collection point with your list of donor
names & e-mail.
These shoes will be recycled for use in Haiti. In this developing country’s tropical
climate, the ladies will not use spike heals, woolly felt slippers or boots. All other
athletic, casual, sandals, dress shoes for men, women or children are greatly appreciated.
Shoes that have holes or are visibly tore up, should be discarded.
