Our yearbook publishing company has just announced that they will be printing an additional
54 books this year. That means that these extra books will be sold on a first-come, firstserved basis. They will cost $80 CASH Only payable to the bookkeeper. Seniors, now is your
chance to buy that wonderful book of memories. You won’t get another opportunity. Buy now
or face regrets later. Our 2012 yearbook will be printed in all color this year and promises to
be one of the best ever.
Attention All Seniors! Packets for the Senior Trip to Magic Mountain are available for pick
up in the Bookkeeper’s office. A deposit of $100.00 is due by Friday, March 2nd.
Applications for the Academic Block T will be available today on the THS website. This is a
recognition program that rewards students for academic achievement. Applications are due to
Mrs. Hutsell by March 14 in room E-111. You can also see Mrs. Hutsell if you have any
questions.
Modesto Junior College cordially invites students to attend their 28th Annual Hispanic
Education Conference on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 8:00am – 2:00pm. The conference
goals are to encourage our local Latino high school and college youth to choose a career path,
focus on a goal and enlighten students about the multitude of choices available to them upon
completion of high school. We are also offering the participants an opportunity to see various
role models from diverse occupational areas. We hope students leave the conference feeling
inspired and motivated to pursue their educational or career goals. For more information visit

to JUNIORS only. Have at least a 2.7 GPA, participated in community service, plan to attend

Wanda Sillivan Community Service Scholarship-paper copies available only-$1,000Graduating senior, college bound. This scholarship focuses on Community Service as the
primary criteria. Student must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Essay on “How this scholarship will
help you achieve your goals”. Deadline 4/13/12
George P. Stein Vocational Scholarship-paper copies available only-$1,000-Graduating senior
with a 2.5 GPA or better. Must be going into a vocational field such as an auto mechanic,
culinary arts, firefighter, nurse, etc. Short one page essay on “How this scholarship will help

Dr. Jack Sjolin Health Profession Scholarship-$1,000-Graduating senior with a 3.0 GPA or
