Graduate Software Engineer
£25,000 including benefits
Stokesley, North Yorkshire
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global supplier of innovative life support products and
services, employing 50 people based in Stokesley. Over 60% of our products are exported
into a number of niche markets worldwide including military, commercial and sport diving,
hospitality and safety.
Analox are looking to recruit an organised and enthusiastic Software Engineer with strong
problem solving skills to join our Development Team. Reporting directly to the Head of
Development the role of this engineer will be the development of software in new Analox
products, typically embedded firmware and PC based software, written mainly in C with some
C# and VB.
A suitable applicant must be able to:



Develop loose ideas into product concepts.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Learn new skills and new products
Essential skills:



Educated to degree level in a suitable discipline
Experience of C and C# programming or C and C++
Experience of coding to coding standards and the use of source control.
Some of the following skills would be an advantage, but are not essential:






Knowledge of embedded systems software development
Experience of automated software test tools such as NUnit or CUnit.
Experience of Agile software development
Experience of programming PLC’s.
Experience designing and developing firmware to operate in electronic sub-assemblies
Experience in VB
