iDeposit Plus Yields New Clients to Banks and ISOs
Gulf Management Systems to introduce remote deposit solution at Eastpay show.
Clearwater, FL—January 26, 2009—Clearwater-based Gulf Management Systems, Inc. (GMS)
announces iDeposit Plus, a web-based solution that lets businesses deposit checks electronically from
their office and collect automatically on returned checks. Merchants improve their bottom line by
eliminating daily trips to the bank, courier costs, and uncollected NSF checks. Banks and ISOs strengthen
relationships with existing merchants, attract new clients, and tap into a new revenue stream.
Preparing and balancing deposits, copying checks, traffic jams, fluctuating gas prices, teller lines, and
chasing NSF checks all steal time, money and productivity away from small business owners.
Streamlining deposits by letting them electronically collect check payments the same way they do credit
cards might be just the thing to help business owners weather today’s tight economy. iDeposit Plus
includes automatic check re-presentment, collecting as much as 74 percent on revenue merchants would
typically write off, while reducing return fees by as much as 90 percent. The solution also helps
merchants do their part for the environment by lowering gas emissions and reducing paper.
Merchants simply scan paper checks at their convenience, then use an easy-to-use web-based interface
developed by Software Earnings to transmit the electronic check images for processing. GMS sends the
files to the Fed, sends an ACH credit to the merchant’s account for the total funds, and manages NSF
returns. Merchants can be up and running quickly—all they need is a PC, high-speed Internet connection,
and scanner. Deposit data can be imported into their accounting package, eliminating data entry and
reducing errors.

number of deposits, distance to and from the bank, and employee wages, ISOs can easily quantify the
value of implementing iDeposit Plus for a merchant.
GMS plans to present iDeposit Plus at upcoming tradeshows including EastPay’s Information Interchange
