Residents living within the East Wenatchee city limits can take advantage of “Free Dump
Days” offered by Waste Management, Inc. City residents are allowed 4 free dumps, or the
equivalent of 10 cubic yards (an average pick-up bed is 2.5 cubic yards), per year at the South
Wenatchee Transfer Station. This disposal program is available only for residential customers
who have current garbage service through Waste Management.
You may dispose of:
 Household Garbage
 Organic Materials, such as yard waste, flowers, brush, shrubs,
grass and weeds
 Furniture Items
Do NOT bring*:
 Appliances – i.e., stoves, refrigerators, air conditioners, washers,
dryers, hot water tanks, etc.
 Tires
 Special Waste – i.e., oil, anti-freeze, paints, solvents, liquid wastes, etc.
 Construction Debris – i.e., roofing, lumber, sheetrock, remodeling,
materials, carpet & pads, linoleum, doors, windows, concrete, rock, brick,
sinks, toilets, bathtubs, loads of metal.
*This list is not all-inclusive. We reserve the right to reject any item.
Rules to Participate:
1. Must be a resident of the City of East Wenatchee, living within the city limits.
2. Must be able to show proof of identification and a current Waste Management bill.
3. Your account with Waste Management must be current, not past due.
4. Must be a residential customer. A rental home or apartment is considered a commercial account if
the occupant is not paying the garbage bill.
5. Waste must be brought to:
South Wenatchee Transfer Station
1421 S. Wenatchee Avenue
Tuesday – Saturday
April – October, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and
November – March, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
