MIRAMAR OFFICERS’ SPOUSES’ CLUB SUPPORTS WREATHS ACROSS
AMERICA SAN DIEGO
OSC to sponsor wreaths for Miramar National Cemetery
San Diego, Calif. – June 10, 2014 – Miramar Officers’ Spouses’ Club (OSC) contributed
$2,000 to sponsor wreaths for the December 13th Wreaths Across America (WAA) event at
Miramar National Cemetery.
"The Miramar Officers' Spouses' Club selected Wreaths Across America San Diego as a
grant recipient for their work in honoring those whom have chosen Miramar National
Cemetery as their final resting place. OSC stands with the mission of WAA to remember,
honor, and teach about the legacy of those who have selflessly served our country,” said
Katie Baskara, president of Miramar Officers Spouses Club.

Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization with the mission “Remember, Honor,
Teach.” With the help of sponsors, donors and volunteers WAA continues the annual
tribute of laying wreaths in veteran cemeteries across the United States. WAA is dedicated
to spreading their message about the importance of remembering our fallen heroes,
honoring those who serve, and teaching our children about the sacrifices made by veterans
