Fractions, percentages and angles Comenius Tales with a focus on The legend of St Martin. Late in the term we will begin to look at World War II and carry this on to Term 4 Using the Internet as a research tool related to topic work and presenting work using ICT in various formats Art Work related to the Comenius tales and Design linked to Enterprise topic Swimming and PE lesson with Miss Laughlin on Fridays. This will help them learn the word rather than simply copy it. Try to ensure they have access to a dictionary. This will help them understand any unknown words and will assist with spelling. During this term, each child will be given ‘The Wee Book About Life, Love and Living’ produced by the NHS and Glasgow City Council. This can be used when discussing SHRE homework tasks with your children. Encourage your child to practise their times tables. This quick recall will help them in their maths. There are many games online that they could use to help them. Try www.bbc.co.uk/schools When your child is researching from the internet or a book encourage them to take notes then write what they have found out in their own words.
