A JSDF briefing session was held on Thursday, January 22 to give an overview of the JSDF
program guidelines and procedures, and also present features of approved JSDF proposals to
help TTLs better prepare their submissions. Further face-to-face or video-conferenced briefing
sessions can be arranged at the request of any Region. To avoid spending resources on
proposals that may not be eligible for funding under JSDF, TTLs can submit a two-page Concept
Note to JSDF for review as soon as possible but not later than February 6, 2009.
Following the briefing session on January 22, there was a session to familiarize staff with the
GFR. In addition, walk-in clinics will be offered as indicated below. The purpose of the walk-in
clinics is to assist staff preparing JSDF proposals.
