Overview
For your final exam in American History you will have the opportunity to read a historical novel.
You will have until near the end of the semester to finish the book and write a 2-3 page review.
The book review is worth 10% of your final grade for the semester. You will choose from a list of books from the library, or you may choose one of your own. The novel you choose does not have to be related to American History, but must be historical in nature. The goal of the final is that you find a novel that interests you . As long as it involves history and you can make a connection with history, than you may choose any subject you like; romance, war, adventure, fiction, non-fiction. Please choose something you are interested in so that your review is not boring to read. The rubric for grading the review is on the back, and you are encouraged to read over it and ask questions.
