Equitrekking’s new fourth season finds host and equestrian travel expert Darley Newman learning dressage in Spain, viewing bald eagles and other wildlife on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, riding to castles in Scotland, visiting underground cities and ancient villages on Arabian horses in Central Turkey, riding the wide beaches on the Gower Peninsula in Wales and more. Exotic locations include Southern Spain, Scotland, Quebec City and Beyond, Wales, Central Turkey and Alaska. “In each new destination, I find new horse breeds, new challenging terrain, beautiful scenery and welcoming locals who show me the best of their world in and out of the saddle,” said Darley. “Whether I’m rock climbing in Quebec, viewing wildlife in the Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska or learning how olive oil is made in Spain, I am always with local people, so viewers are learning about each destination through the locals, which is truly the best way to travel.” The Equitrekking crew is currently in production on new episodes as part of a fifth season, venturing to Uruguay, Montana, Turkey, Alberta and beyond.
