Tender Notice
Allahabad Bank, Barasat, Zonal Office, 54 K.N.C Road P.O. Barasat, Kolkata700124, invites sealed tenders for supply and installation of sealed maintenance free
Batteries for UPS located at various branches/ Centres in the zone of Barasat, 24
Parganas (N) district of West Bengal..
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Bidders should have minimum 5 years of experience in this line of activity.
2. Bidders should have supplied batteries to Public / Private sector Banks in the
last one year and their service should be satisfactory. Copies of Satisfactory
service support report from the institutions should be enclosed.
3. Vendors who have already supplied batteries to our Branches have to submit
the satisfactory service support report from at least five of the branches from
our Barasat Zone, failing which their proposal will not be considered.
4.
Vendor must have the service centers / engineers locally in all major centers of West
Bengal (submit details)
5.
The Empanelled vendor on whom any purchase order will be placed by Barasat
Zonal Office, will be require to furnish performance security to the purchaser an
amount of 5% of the order value of the equipment up to 60 days beyond the
warranty period.

Terms & Conditions for Installation
(To be signed and attached along with Sealed Quotation)
1.
Date of commencement: - The date of commencement shall be reckoned as the date of
work order issued to the successful Bidder.
2.
Time of completion: - The work shall be completed in all respect within a period of 1
(one) week from the date of issue of purchase order.
3.
Liquidated damage: - If the supplier fails to complete the job within the stipulated time,
the bank will be entitled to charge liquidated damage @ 0.5% of the accepted contract
sum per week subject to a maximum of 10% of the accepted contract sum.
4.
Validity Period:- The price quoted will be valid for a period of 6 (Six) months from the
date of opening of the financial bid.
5.
Order will be placed as per requirement from time to time.
6.
No commitment to place 100% order of the tender within the price validity.
7.
Delivery freight and all other similar charges shall be borne by the supplier and no
separate payment shall be made on this account.
8.
The vendor shall be make arrangement for storage of materials, if required, tools and
equipments atc at site and the bank shall not bear any expenses and risk also on this
accounts.
9.
In case of extremely unsatisfactory execution, incompetence, bad workmanship, use of
materials officially rejected by the bank, Bank is empowered to terminate the contract
and engage separate agencies for completing the work on vendors risk & cost by serving
3 days notice of work.
10.
The vendor will observer all necessary precaution at his cost to safeguard the workers
during execution of work.
11.
In case of Battery failure during warranty period, the vendor has to replace the batteries
at their own cost.
12.
The vendors has to replace the entire set of batteries within a week, in case of more than
two occasion failure during warranty period.
13.
Bidder has to submit their Technical & financial Bid separately. The financial bid will be
entertained for only those the bidders who will qualify in the technical bid (eligibility
criterion )
