Chandrashekar Rao has issued instructions for release of an amount of Rupees 404.58 Crores towards input subsidy to the affected farmers whose agriculture crops damaged due to different natural calamities occurred from 2009-2010 financial year to 2014-2015 financial year. The Chief Minister has also issued instructions for release of an amount of Rupees 75.84 Crores towards input subsidy to the affected farmers whose agricultural crops were damaged due to hail storms and heavy rains occurred from 2009-2013. Thus the total amount now stands released is 480.42 Crores. The release of this amount has been pending for a long time and now the amounts are released. From out of 404.58 Crores towards crops damaged due to natural calamities the District wise breakup is Ranga Reddy 28.62 Crores Medak 34.33 Crores Nizamabad 1.27 Crores Mahabubnagar 96.11 Crores Nalgonda 72.85 Crores Waranagal 18.69 Crores Khammam 1.35 Crores Karimnagar 87.09 Crores Adilabad 64.26 Crores From out of 75.84 crores released towards damages due to hail storms and heavy rains the district wise breakup is Ranga Reddy 24.14 Crores Medak 12.03 Crores Nizamabad 18.79 Crores Mahabubnagar 3.67 Crores Nalgonda 3.00 Crores Warangal 12.33 Crores Khammam 1.16 Lakhs Karimnagar 18.86 Crores Adilabad 4.74 Crores The payment of input subsidy will be done directly to the bank accounts of farmers and payment shall be made within a period of 90 days from the date of release of funds.
