Restroom
GOAL: All restrooms in Cisco Elementary will be clean and safe.
Staff Expectations: *All staff will teach the restroom Paws Laws
*All staff will monitor restrooms
*All staff will reteach Paws Laws as needed
*All staff will enforce consequences
Student Expectations: *Take care of your needs
*Keep area clean
*Respect others in the restroom and their privacy
*Return to class quickly with pass
Procedures:

Ask teacher to go to restroom and get a pass.
Place pass around your neck
Respect privacy of others while in the restroom.
Go > Take care of needs quickly.
Flush.
Wash > Do not splash water,
Dispose of paper towel properly.
Leave > Check to make sure area is clean.
Return to class promptly and quickly and return pass.
Examples:
1. Flush commode.
2. Wash hands properly and dispose of paper towel.
Nonexamples:
1. Horseplay
2. Leaving without washing
3. Leaving a mess
Plan:
Demonstrate the proper way to enter the restroom, wash and dispense paper
towels, dispose of paper towels, and do a quick check for a mess.
Students will be praised for appropriate behavior. Students that are not following
the laws will be retaught.
