東北大学電気系 21 世紀COEポスドク募集 POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Tohoku University 21st century COE program: "System Construction of Global-Network-Oriented Information Electronics" has founded a research and educational center for nano-technology (NT) and information communication technology (IT), led by Prof. Tatsuo Uchida as its leader/director. Distinguished professors from the Dept. of Electronic Engineering, the Dept. of Electrical and Communication Engineering, Research Institute of Electrical Communication (RIEC), and New Industry Creation Hatchery Center (NICHe) are participating in this program. The NT-IT research and educational center has three areas of research and development: (A) Basic Research and Analysis/Evaluation Technology, (B) Semiconductor, Magnetic, Optical and Display Devices, and (C) Computing and Transport Technology. We look for 6 outstanding postdoctoral young researchers. The selected postdoctoral researchers will be expected to work under the supervision of the distinguished professors participating in this program. The initial term will start from anywhere between April 1 and June 1, 2004 and will end in March 2005. Those who have achieved a satisfactory research activity will be able to extend the contract. The decision will be made before the end of the contract of the initial period.
