Nurse Advisor to Cardiac Pacemakers Inc. Responsible for
advising pacemaker /defibrillator company on patient management
issues relating to pacemakers and the automatic implantable
defibrillator. Prepared and delivered lectures on cardiac pacing and
defibrillation to local hospitals in Maryland, Washington and
Virginia as well as national and international cardiovascular health
conferences.
1989-1999
Developed and managed a public health project in Guanaja
Honduras in collaboration with physicians and nurses at Johns
Hopkins Hospital. In addition to initiating and sustaining a basic
medical clinic, basic first aid, CPR, family planning, diabetic
health and maternal child health care classes were taught.
