Instructions for the Statement of Interest
 The Statement of Interest should be a well-written essay of 400-800
words explaining:
1.) your personal and professional experience and interest in ASD
2.) what you would like to gain from the Chestnut Hill College
Professional Certificate Program.
 The Statement of Interest essay is an extremely important application
requirement, so please demonstrate your ability to express yourself clearly and
coherently. Please review your essay carefully prior to submission. The quality of
the writing and content will be given substantial weight in the admission decision.
 Please include your name, the date, and ASD Professional Certificate at the top of
your paper.
