Oskaloosa Community School District Accommodations/Modifications for the Regular Education Setting Appendix Accommodations: Accommodations are instructional tools to enable a student to readily access learning and the curriculum. They include a variety of strategies to help ALL students learn and retain material. Any student may be provided with an accommodation at any time. These are NOT OPTIONAL if included on the students’ IEP! 1. Pacing Extend time Vary activity often Allow breaks Limit lectures requiring a lot of copying Extra time before, during, after school 2.
