There are point and shoot cameras that you could borrow from the class, however the quality of the cameras are not great. NO DISPOSABLE

For journal assignments & exposure purposes, you are going to need a digital camera as well. Please use the one you used in Studio Photograhy

Supplies:

Supply lists were mailed home over the summer. If you do not have one please be certain to take one.

Lockers:

All students must have a photo locker this year. You will partner up with 2 other people and store all of your photo supplies inside of the locker. You will need this locker to store film; mat board, reels, notes, and projects in- anything left laying around in the photo room is open grounds to anyone- be RESPONSIBLE!!

Keenan Center All High Photography Show:

Every year the advanced photography class participates in the Keenan Student

Photography show in April. You will have the option of submitting your best work for the show. Entries for this show will be collected in April; more details will be given then.

Field Trip:

This semester we may or may not have the opportunity to go on a class field trip.

There may be opportunities outside of school where I will be going on photo shoots throughout Buffalo, students are welcome to join, however it should be noted that this is not a school function. Such places may include Elmwood strip,

Village of East Aurora, The Marina & Downtown Buffalo. The purpose is to be able to assist students with exposures for film and provide them with unique photographs. Digital cameras & Parents welcome!

Art Partners:

This club is designed to help defray the costs of art supplies for all art students.

Photographic pieces usually run from $25-30, which would cover the cost of the supply fee for this course. If you are interested please make sure to take a yellow art partners form. Students are limited to 2 art partners.

Lastly, have fun and be creative 
