READ these common sense issues (available in detail on Course site > FAQs):
Attendance/tardiness: If you are often absent or tardy to this class, you simply will not pass the course.
Success: You are responsible for your success in this class; I am not.
Maturity: This is not high school. Act like an adult, and I will treat you like an adult.
- Participation in class is required.
Mobile devices: I confiscate phones. They can be retrieved from my office.
Incomplete work: Work not completed = z e r o.
Food, candy, chips, etc: DO NOT EAT in class. DRINKS are fine.
Plagiarism: If you let someone COPY your course work, you will both be kicked out of the class.
In-class grading: If in-class switching/grading of assignments/tests insults you or compromises your privacy,
please make arrangements to come to my office, and we will grade your work together.
Email: This is professional communication with someone assigning you a grade.
Do it grammatically correctly. Otherwise, it will be IGNORED.
