Dear 5th Grade Parents:
Your child will be in the program on March 26th at 2:50 pm. The
play, called “Joust!,” will be in the High School Commons. We
hope to see you there in the audience!
Attached is a list of the characters in the play and a second list
of ideas for costumes. Costumes do not need to be elaborate or
expensive. The kids have come up with many fun ideas. Feel free
to borrow items from one another to keep expenses down.
If you would like to do something more elaborate than what I’ve
suggested, it’s ok! Have fun and be creative!
I’m posting the cast list and costume needs on my page on the
school website: huntley.k12.mt.us. Click on “Elementary” and
“Janet Morgenstern” if you need another copy of this list and
letter.
I’ve also included a list of miscellaneous items that we need for
the play on the back page and a contact form if you are willing to
help out.
Please contact me with any questions. Email is best:
jmorgenstern@huntley.k12.mt.us. My phone number is 406-9672540, ex. 153.
Cordially,
Janet Morgenstern, K-6 Music

They also need a kazoo, which

If you want to decorate them,
put a lion in red on the front.
French Knights: Same as the

damsels.
Items Needed for Props
If you are able to provide any of these items, please contact Mrs.
Morgenstern at jmorgenstern@huntley.k12.mt.us or at 861-0195.
Sets of small wooden bowls or coconut halves. Must be able to fit in a child’s hands.
Stick horses.
Long cardboard tubes-we’ll make them into jousting poles. They have to be
cardboard so no one gets hurt.
Extra Costumes: For a variety of reasons, there are some students who do not
have a costume the day of the play. If you have any extras that would fit, we’d
really appreciate borrowing them.
