1. Introduction
Department of English education has a goal of cultivating scholars and
professionals specialized in both theory and practice in English learning and
teaching. Students in the Department learn about various areas of English as a
second or foreign language such as learning theories, teaching methods,
curriculum development, assessment, English linguistics, teaching materials
development, English culture, and research methodology, and acquire M.A. &
Ph.D. degrees in education.
