The Department of Electronic Engineering at Inha University was established to meet the growing demand for expertise in electronic industries in 1963 and offers the
Master of Science Degrees since 1973 and the Doctor of Philosophy Degrees since
1977. The department also has various research programs in the area of Electronic
Engineering.
Graduate courses in the Department of Electronic Engineering are grouped into two major research fields as Electronic Communications and Information Engineering.
Major research activities of Electronic Communications are signal propagation and optical communication, semiconductors, communication engineering, microwave and avionic communication, and digital signal processing. And, the research field of Information Engineering includes Biomedical Engineering, circuit systems, Image signal Processing and Computer Vision, computer structure and network, and CMOS analog & digital VLSI design.
