Make a Pom Pom Flock Materials: Yarn (18-20m) Cardboard rectangle (7 x 10cm) Cardstock or felt Face & leg template Scissors Tacky glue Instructions: 1. Wrap the yarn around the cardboard rectangle, widthwise. Wrap the yarn approximately 120 times. *If you are using multiple colours: a. Wrap all colours at the same time (less wraps - 2 colours = 60 wraps; 3 colours = 40 wraps, etc.) b. Or, switch between colours. (Eg. wind 30 wraps of one colour, then wrap 30 wraps of next colour, etc.) 2. Cut yarn. 3. Bend cardboard slightly, and slide yarn bundle off. 4. Cut a length of yarn about 15 cm long. 5. Lay bundle of yarn in centre of yarn strand. 6. Tie as tightly as possible around the centre of bundle and double knot. 7. With scissors, cut the loops on either side of the bundle. Fluff your pompom 8. Use templates to cut 1 head and 2 leg pieces from felt or card. Decorate. 9. Glue to pompom. Name your sheep
