HSK Test Course About HSK Chinese Proficiency Test, Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi in Chinese, known as HSK, is a standardized test designed and developed by the State HSK Commission under Chinese Ministry of Education to assess the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers. Duration: 60 hours Elementary (Levels 3,4,5) Objective: You have learned some Chinese phonetics and a few words but you cannot express yourself. You will learn basic Chinese vocabulary, sentence structure and grammar using everyday topics. Phonetics, tone exercises and drills ensure that you learn the correct pronunciation and intonation from the very beginning. Courses will enable you to use new words and longer sentences while speaking. This will provide you with the tools to make yourself more easily understood by Chinese people. Duration: 60 hours Intermediate (Levels 6,7,8) Objective: You have acquired elementary Chinese grammar and you can express yourself regarding general topics. This course goes thoroughly into grammar, more complex sentence structure and specific vocabulary. You will better understand China and Chinese people and gain more exposure to their way of thinking and behaving thus guarantying successful communication in Chinese. Duration: 80 hours Advanced (levels 9, 10, 11) Objective: You’ve already grasped most Chinese language skills and can express yourself freely. This course will help you raise your communication skills to the level of native speakers through intensive listening, reading, speaking and writing practice.
