Invitation for Seminar: “Investment Opportunities in Gujarat”
Consulate General of India, Frankfurt in association with the Government of Gujarat cordially invite you
to a Seminar titled ‘Investment Opportunities in Gujarat’ on September 17, 2014 to promote Vibrant Gujarat
Global Summit 2015.
In this connection, a high level business delegation led by Mr. J.N. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary &
Managing Director Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd., Government of Gujarat will be visiting Frankfurt on 17 th
September, 2014. The purpose of the visit of the delegation is as under:
 Invite various delegations and multinational companies from Germany to participate in the 7th Vibrant
Gujarat Global Summit to be held from 11 to 13 January, 2015.
 Tie-up with leading industrial institutions/chambers of commerce/trade bodies, resulting in a MoU to
promote investment, business and technology exchange.
 Investment in focus sectors including engineering, apparels, electronics, chemicals, petrochemicals &
petroleum products, financial services, education and R&D, ITes, biotechnology, nanotechnology etc.
 Partnership of knowledge and academic institutions with Gujarat based academic institutions.
 The last edition of the Summit in 2013 saw participation from more than 120 countries and 17,749
investment MoUs were signed.
