What’s the connection between The Archbishop of Canterbury and
a pantomime dame?
They have both contributed to the exhibition, ‘Stepping out for Cancer!’
From May 2013 the diocese of St. Asaph is celebrating a ‘Year of
Pilgrimage.’ Here in the beautiful North Wales market town of Ruthin we
are playing our part by organising at our parish church of St. Peter’s a
fundraising exhibition of footwear of all sorts, shapes and sizes in support
of local and regional cancer charities.
The exhibition, ‘Stepping out for Cancer!’ runs at St. Peter’s from July 4th
to September 22nd and we’re hoping lots of people will enjoy visiting or
extending the exhibition by donating some extra footwear – following in
the footsteps of the Archbishop of Canterbury and pantomime dames…!
