Students design questions about their topics
Media Specialist provides training in research skills
Art Teacher guides students in creating Display Boards
Students visit local libraries to collect resources about their
topics
Volunteer parents assists students and teachers
Groups create a draft projecting: Magazine ideas, designs for Visual
Display, tools needed for Oral Presentation and names of
organizations or community support for the Action Component
FEBRUARY
Collect data and identify community support
March
Review with teacher Student Guidelines
Begin Writing the research paper
APRIL
Student continue working with Art Teacher on Display Board
Team meet outside the school setting
Students works on all 3 parts of their exhibition:
Written Report-Visual Display and Oral Presentation
Parents are invited to support teams by visiting classrooms and mentoring
(8:45 am)
MAY
All major components must be essentially completed!
Teams rehearse oral presentations
